Can I extend a Contract Hire?

Yes you can. If you give one month notice, a contract can be extended.

Is Contract Hiring a camera right for me?

If you are confident that a specific camera will return it’s cost price in a reasonable amount of time, allow you to do the jobs you want and hold on to it’s value. The simple answer is “No”.

If however you want the versatility of being able to change cameras in as little as six months. Would rather fix the cost of having a new camera over the medium term to fit your business plan. Can’t really afford buying a specific camera for a specific job, or just don’t want to commit to a specific camera for the long term, the answer is “Yes”.

Can I finish a Contract Hire early?

If you have a 12 month contract it is possible to finish it early providing more than 6 months have passed and you take out a further contract for a different camera. Subject to terms and conditions.
